Annual History Fair
Third Saturday in January

Our annual History Fair is held in the commons area of Soddy-Daisy High School. Dozens of exhibitors bring their unique items, photos, and knowledge of area history. You’ll find local family and organization histories, Civil War artifacts, American Indian relics, coal mining, industrial pottery, and much more. Our next history fair will be announced here, and on our Facebook page.

Pioneer Day
First Saturday in November

Held at Poe's Tavern Historical Park. See historical displays along with food, period music, and games for the kids. Living history volunteers representing the 37th Tennessee Infantry conduct Infantry demonstrations their encampment to give the public a glimpse into the life of a soldier during the Civil War. Also to the many others with displays to provide living history for all to see how things were done in the "Old Days." Thanks to the many who visited us at Pioneer Day. We’ll see you at the next one!

Classic Cars are on display at and around the museum. Enjoy tasty ‘Plenty Burgers’ featuring the famous Chow-Now sauce.
